That's not normal. Make sure you are sending a strong clean signal. Are you using iRig? That should help.

Will this work on a 4th generation Ipod touch? what is needed to get it to run? Which Ipods can and can't run it?

@slaydz765 it will not do the proper impedance matching and will not get the proper guitar signal to get a good sound.
As a beginner, I'm trying to lay down something with three tracks, two guitars and a vocal (using the Vocalive bundle). First track goes down fine, but I can't seem to get the second instrument to include effects, or for the vocal track to even work. Seems this is square one of song creation, but there's no video demo and not enough in-app help to get me going. Can you help or point me in the right direction? Thx
@bonfirejovi That's not a lot to go on. The track in the included 1-track recorder must be on and Insert FX enabled. Take a look at the help (click the ? icon in upper left of the app), then at the end is a link to the manual. If your questions aren't answered there, go to the FAQ on the iRig page of our site, and if that also doesn't help please contact support (which can be done right from the app). We cannot do full tech support in YouTube comments. Thanks!
@LoCoPaRtAn We've tested on all iPhones, iPod Touch, and iPad models. The supported models are on the site – if not yet updated, rest assured it works great on the latest models.
