First off, Apple quality is falling badly. Defective batteries knowingly installed in iphones and Apple refuses to fix them at their expense. Defective rocker volume switches installed and they refuse to fix them or replace the ipad at their expense. Apple slowed iphones down intentionally in order to drive new sales. They did it to my iphones 4 and 5. My 2008 imac was very fast and worked fine and they stopped supporting it fairly quick. My mini is just another story in itself. The philosophy of Tim and making his private life a cornerstone of the world wide operation is unsettling. What happened? Do you remember “Rumors and Gossip Gurdy?”

Musk absolutely could not run a company like Apple. He doesn’t have the patience or temperament to do what Cook does so well. And to be fair, Cook probably lacks the technical skill to push the kind of innovation Musk manages to squeeze out of Tesla. They’re both perfectly suited where they are.
