I'm surprised that the finger print feature still works but maybe I missed why it does. I got my iPhone 8+ fixed since it dropped dead all of a sudden. The theory goes that the home button also remembers that the phone was tampered with and will not normally do the finger print anymore.

This types of repair easily can do even for a kid not . You should do micro soldering. Not doing childish part replacement. Even 10 years old kid can replace parts and repair the phone. Don't do useless stuff to waste time and don't upload your childish stuff on internet to wast others time
