  1. 🚨*QOTD: What do you think? Are you primarily an iOS user or an Android user? What do you think of the new changes in iOS 14 and if you're an Android user, do you find any of these changes compelling? Are you switching to iOS?*

  2. so can you do the crazy customizations with galaxy? because I spent hours making an avatar the last Airbender one on my iPhone and I'd love to do it on a galaxy and it's one of the only things holding me back from making that final step.

  3. I am considering switching to iOS because their text messaging seems 10x better. I mainly text my wife and kids who all have iOS. Peer pressure as I write this from a 21ultra

  4. I was a longtime android user that switched to iOS and.. admittedly it'll be hard to go back to android if I ever wanted to. Apple's iOS just does everything better, and it has an advantage that android will never have. Apple is able to optimize software and hardware together, whereas with android it's a copy/paste software going on thousands of different pieces of hardware. When using iOS that advantage is REALLY apparent especially when using social media apps. I had the samsung galaxy note10+, I remember every day my battery almost being dead by the time I got off work (granted, I use my phone alot at that job), when I got my iphone 11 pro max.. I could use it all day long and come home to 80% left. The software is just so much better optimized.

All that being said.. I genuinely want to see a Windows Phone comeback.

  5. Chilling on the note 20 ultra 5g, using iOS is like visiting those historic old towns from the 1800s. Apple people celebrating PIP like the steam engine, that feature is OLD son.

  6. I was thinking of getting an iphone but the only thing stopping me is the fact that Ive paid for games on the play store and my downloading of many external apps

  7. Watching this on my iPhone 7 Plus at 1080p.

No reason to upgrade my phone just yet, due to the usability of my phone thanks to iOS 14.

I find it funny how people upgrade their phones like crazy for the dumbest reasons.

  8. I bought a 2nd hand iPhone in college to bash it in front of my classmates. Yes, it was considered "COOL" in my toxic environment.

I ended up being an iOS daily driver.

Irony being, I am an android developer now , and don't see myself returning to android anytime soon.

    P.S. Great video though.

  9. I will say that imessage is overrated. I live in texas and a week ago when we had that ice storm all cellular networks were drastically impacted. None had signal. However as an android user, I would still be able to send a message from time to time while my apple friends couldn't even send a message to each other via imessage in the same house!

  10. I recently upgraded my note 9 to the iphone 12 pro max (literally a couple days ago). I'll be 100% honest, I like it a lot better.

the note 9 was my last favorite android device and there are things I miss from android right now. the notifications not being grouped is a big one. Face ID is by far my favorite way to unlock the phone. so much better than a fingerprint reader and way faster. as soon as I pick up the phone its unlocked which is really nice. Kinda sad there is no 120hz display this time but everything feels snappy to me so I'll live.

all my apps seem to run faster with this phone (but that could be down to the fact that the note 9 was like two years old) and the camera takes amazing pictures. I also appreciate the information it gives me about what data the apps are trying to collect. that is a major plus to me.

Customization is fine. Its not fully customizable like android is but smart stack widgets are cool and I can have a relatively clean home screen.

Really overall I don't see any real compelling reason not to switch and give it a shot. What I mean is as an android user I kinda just always dismissed the iPhone every year. now, I think I'll look at android and iPhone to see what is the best phone for me.

  11. IPhone users are just like religious people, their brain synapses work the same way, being offended when someone criticizes, arranged all kinds of justifications for their belief. Never listening to or believing in anything else that is presented to them even if it makes sense.

  12. The only reason I'd ever consider an iphone is for clear video uploads to instagram and snapchat which tbh is not reason enough. Android capabilities are almost endless. The apps you can get from Google outside the play store 😳. Free spotify and youtube premium, movie apps etc.

  13. Been always an Android user as I can't afford an iPhone. Just today, I got an iPhone 12 mini. Navigation is making me crazy without the back, home and recent apps buttons at the bottom that Android phones have.

  14. The biggest reason not to use an iPhone: no undelete for text messages. On iOS, if you accidentally delete a text message or entire conversation, you’re f*cked. It’s gone, along with any pics or attachments in that conversation. Sorry!

On Android, if this happens you just go into trash and recover. Easy peasy. If you have kids and they ever get ahold of your iPhone, watch out!

  15. One Plus 5 User and wanting to try IOS specifically the iPhone 12 Pro cause i heard bad things about the One Plus now, because of the delays in their updates and the Company as well. Didn't know that as One Plus User, we shared same company from Oppo and Realme lol

  16. As an Android guy who has to move to iOS (apps that my business needs just don't exist) so Imma go 2 phones like you. Yeah YouTuber life is great (jk my channel has like 85 subs at time of writing, but really will have dual phone tho) the only thing I like about iPhone is magsafe. I historically live magnets and that wallet/magsafe, Apple watch and qi (for airpods) charge stand/ etc are so cool

  17. Just got my first iPhone yesterday and I flipping hate it. It is horrible I’m hoping I can return the phone and get back to an android. Google developed Android and Google is Google because they are king of the universe with programming.Programming is Google’s product.

  18. I don't think I'll ever switch to iPhone. I've been a Android user since 2014 I have no problems with iPhone I just don't seem to like them much. But to each their own.

  19. As an unbiased tech person I have tried both platforms and IMO android is more open and has more options
IOS is just boring and bland it's like a phone you give to your grandmother
And that proves my point about the nudnicks in society give them something simple and easy that doesn't require them to use any brain cells and they all praise it and want it

  20. If iPhone would run Android as it's primary OS and just do an iOS skin over it, i would definitely switch to iPhone. And i think so goes with a lot of Android users.

  21. I liked the customization when I was on android. I already had an iPad and was considering iPhone again after trying the 8plus for 6months. I didn’t like iOS as much as android and still prefer android as a phone but I think I’m staying with apple for the integration and updates. I said once I try an iPhone this time I’m not going back. Samsung introduced me to pop up windows. I really hate that there is no true multitasking on the iPhone but I have it some what on the iPad and I can make and receive calls/texts.if apple ever does true multitasking I think that is a wrap for android. They can leave the widgets like they are and pull enough android users with that alone.

  22. I've tried iPhone again after years using Android, after 5 months i was done with iPhone. All the time it felt like going back in time and missing features which Android already has for years. Like quickly change from WiFi point manually or going into Bluetooth devices isn't even possible, you need to go into settings for that. Multi-tasking isn't ready yet (ok is getting better, but still like Android 5 years ago).

  23. Man they still don’t have split screen tech, their pip is garbage, it basically don’t work, they don’t have PowerPoint app and they won’t allow you to download 3rd party app…. on my Samsung I have over 900 songs that I personally picked and downloaded for free….you can’t do this on the apple….you can pay subscription fees but the music won’t be your and you lose your entire catalogue if you miss a payment….battery life is garbage as well
