Hi everyone today we are going to be checking out how loud is a VOX AC30. Now by playing this video. I’ve realise my iPhone has turned down the volume to make the speakers over power with volume. But from me talking then turning the volume up. You can sort of notice you can’t hear me haha. Anyways enjoy! This isn’t edited. everything is raw video and audio.

Sounds great but who can turn up that loud? Even in a band practice situation it be to loud
Me at 3 a.m. thinking my headphone is plugged.
This sooooooo needs some black sabbath belting out!
I live in a condo. I can’t even crank my Master Volume past 3 on my AC30. I would love to do this. Probably the day before I move out….
Ear Protection !!!!Awesome Ear protection refers to devices used to protect the ear, either externally from elements such as cold, intrusion by water and other environmental conditions, debris, or specifically from noise. High levels of exposure to noise may result in noise-induced hearing loss. Measures to protect the ear are referred to as hearing protection, and devices for that purpose are called hearing protection devices. In the context of work, adequate hearing protection is that which reduces noise exposure to below 85 dBA over the course of an average work shift of eight hours.[1] When sounds exceed 80 dBA, it becomes dangerous to the ears. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has standards that show how long a person can be in different loudness levels before the person reaches their maximum daily dose and becomes damaging to their hearing. These standards can give individuals an idea of when hearing protection should be considered. The maximum daily dose with the corresponding decibel level is shown below.[2]
Decibel Level with the time reaching maximum daily dose (dBA):
8 hours at 85 dB(A)
4 hours at 88 dB(A)
2 hours at 91 dB(A)
60 minutes at 94 dB(A)
30 minutes at 97 dB(A)
15 minutes at 100 dB(A)
Remember Brian May uses three of them Flat out always and the only channel he uses is the low channel with a treb booster. He must be deaf
Dog that Gretch.
Why the Fuck would you play that song with gain and a jazz guitar?
It's orginally played on an acoustic
Heat in Aussy (New Zealand?) sounds like hate in American. Get rid of the hate man ✌️
Could you get that same cranked sound but at lower volume with an attenuator? or would the attenuator change the harmonics?
Haha this was amazing
The feedback is absolutely beautiful, i can imagine this rig being great for punk
Crikey man I could here you from here, good demo, Vox one amp I've never owned, just recently sold my 59 Fender Bassman so who knows. Thanks for the demo
Fantastic sound.
did you used Any pedal ?
What model gretch is this?
Just do not loose the backplate – must keep it somewhere!
I love how you immediately played One Vision.
You can’t not play Queen on an ac30. Its just required by law of every land.
This is just great man !
It's maybe my 3rd comment on YT ever but brooooo. Ekhem first… HAMMER TO F*CKIN FALL!!!!!!!!!!!! Second: if this won't give you an instant boner – nothing will. Third: I'm just dying to get one and then it's MISERABLE LIFE O' DA HOOD A HAW HAW HAW. Fourth: I'm so gonna held girl next door at guitar point she will either move out or will date me. Ok… being serious now… (actually I was for those who about to not believe – thanks, man – I really needed to make sure this amp will cut through… but it will… xD HAMMER TO FALL!!!)
Came here to see an ac30 demo, got a Queen display one instead. How natural that seems! Well done.
what kinda gretch is that 1?
Does it work with 220?
AND if i bought it from amazon, would it still work with 220v?
Also thank you!!
If you don't remove the backboard it gets really hot and is that bad for the amp ? Can the heat damage it ? Thanks
this is real Hammer to Fall haha
Put some shoes on, animal…
Sounds badass
That Gretsch though…. :O
Why would anyone leave the back plate open? Put your hand in the wrong place and you could get a terrible electric shock?
neighbors must be thrilled….
