I think I will just keep my phone in a nice case to help protect it from damage… clear glass, black glass, etc… all make no difference to me as ALL my phones get protective cases that have warranties to protect it anyways from damage or they will pay to replace your phone. Knock on wood, I have every cell phone I have ever had, even back to my old bag phone, none even have a scratch on them and they do get dropped, kicked, and banged around a lot.
Old saying goes, If it is not broke, don't fix it.
