Apple’s iPhone 12 mini is probably the BEST compact flagship phone you can get.. But there have definitely been some issues with it.. and these new ones have caused me to think twice..

It didn't fail.
I just got the mini today and its better than my 12. The speakers, camera, brightness, reception, sometimes you just get a lemon iphone. Or its the carrier.

I just ordered it 🙂 I’ve been waiting for the price to go down .. and now I save about $100 just because I waited a few months. I went from 1st gen IPhone SE and I think that many that have waited for a new “mini” hasn’t been throoowing themselves to the 12 mini. Like.. if we waited 5 years, we could wait some more months for the price to go down 😃 But that is just my own analysis. I do not think this was such a bad sale, we just don’t buy at the launch.. we can wait 🙂
Why are you on your phone in church
First time moving from android to iphone as i got a macbook air m1 a few months ago and decided as my contract was up on my mobile. to go bust and get an iphone as well. I have a Huawei P30 Pro and it still looks amazing, still has a much better camera than any of the new iphones but I just couldn't get over the size of it. In fact…. I really am finding it funny that phones now are almost the same size as those bricks you see when cell phones were first coming around in the 80s. Why do you need something so big that you have to use 2 hands? if you want to stream things on bigger screens, use a tablet. lol. Anyway. At first I wasn't sure how i felt about the iphone 12 mini cus I had gotten so use to phones being so huge that it just felt weird being able to do things with one hand again. Now that i'm use to it. its amazing. think your just use to the size of the way phones are now because there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and performs the same as the iphone 12
The mini should be the size of the iPhone X or iPhone XS, 5.8 inch. That’s a perfect size for a small phone.
Despite the point you made in the video, the mini has been one of my favorite phones given it’s form factor and features. I love the fact I can slide it in my pocket and forget it’s there, something I couldn’t with the iPhone X! The mini is definitely not for everyone, but still one of the best iPhones IMHO.
The phone is awesome
I cant use smaller phones (fat thumbs and failing eyesight!) but my girlfriend has kept her 5se because of its size and now she has a clear upgrade path and no matter its “failings” the mini blows the older small phone out of the water.
So for people like her the mini is far from a fail.
Debating between the iphone 12 and the 12 mini. Upgrading from the iphone X. I did like the smaller phones better, the X took a bit for me to get used to size wise, and I don't even think i have super small hands. It still feels a little big for me but I've adjusted after over 2 years. It looks like the iphone 12 is bigger even than the X which i dont think I will like. I don't do gaming or any extensive video watching on my iphone so mini might be the way to go? Thanks for your help!
I think that the SE took the market away. The people that wanted the smaller phone are more than content with the iPhone SE.

Oh no. I've been a happy owner of the 12 mini the second it was available and this rises concerns whether it will be the last smallish phone.. I really hope not. I use my phone mainly with one hand and where ever I go I prefer that all the thing I carry can fit my pockets. I don't want a phablet. Period. Well at least I can enjoy my wonderful small phone the maximum time since I got it so early. The predecessor was the original SE which I carried for over four years.

This device is not a failure. If you want your phone to handle specific daily tasks extremely well, you love iOS, and a small form factor but you don't rely on your phone to be the entertainment hub of your life, then the iPhone 12 Mini is perfect. If I want to game then I'll use my Playstation, XBox, or Nintendo SwitchLite. If I want to watch movies, read the news, or view YouTube then I'll use my iPad or Macbook Air. If I'm going hiking and plan to photograph landscapes and wildlife then I'll use my DSLR camera gear. There's no reason why I need to carry a huge brick in my pocket so that I can distract myself all day. I tire of hearing how a device is bad because it doesn't have a giant battery that allows you to game and watch videos all day. Who can game and watch videos all day?

my dad gave me his old iPhone 5s almost 4 years ago when he bought an iPhone 7 Plus. eh… the 5s wasnt too good.. it had terrible battery life (i mean obviously.. the thing is so old) and it was so slow. I just recently bought the 12 mini a few days ago since it was the closest thing in size and shape to my 5s 🙂
so far, im pretty happy with it. it has day-long battery life and its super fast
i hope i dont experience any troubles with it
I’m really interested in the mini since I prefer using my phone with one hand. I’ve watched a few review videos and this is the first time I heard the mini gets worst cell reception and internet speed compared to the full size brother. Has anyone else experienced this?
