  1. I've given up on Apple. They aren't the same company they used to be. I used to LOVE their products, back when they made computers that were repairable, well designed, upgradeable, had well designed and super reliable software and weren't locked down. But now, the software reliablility is shot to hell, the hardware has one engineering fault after another, the company is constandly lying, and EVERY product is compromised due to their penny pinching and greed. My next machine will be a Windows machine, and I will build it myself. It will have 15 USB ports, a kick ass graphics card, will have a processor faster than anything Apple builds, WATER COOLING, 22 tb of storage, and will support 5 monitors. It will also be expandable, with later upgrades including more memory, more storage and a second graphics card. And here is the kicker, it will cost about a third of what Apple would charge for a far less well speced machine.

  2. I always took 2 years to mean from the first release, not the announcement…. And 2.9 years is still 2 years. In my mind they have till summer 2023 to meet their deadline

  3. Way more interested in GLASS than a folding iPhone, I just don’t like or see the point in folding phones, they seem like compromise products.

  4. What happened to the Mac Pro Mini with Silicon (AKA The Mac Pro Cube? I am going to go with the MacBook Pro 16 Inch. Hopefully, somewhere in that time frame (Fall), we can get a Display that is priced for the Consumbers, (around $1,000), and then I can set that up with the MacBook Pro, a keybaord, and trackpad, mouse etc. If no Apple Display, I found an LG 34 inch display, that I will get. I would have the best of both worlds, a desktop, and then I can take my MacBook Pro on trips, along with my I-Pad Pro, it will also be part of my Desktop setup as well.

This will be my first Mac, so I am patiently waiting for the MacBook Pro. I wanted the larger I-Mac with the Apple chips, but I don't want to wait another whole year, and since the awsome 14 & 16 inch MacBook Pros are coming a year sooner, I will go with that, and then get a 30-34 inch display with a VESA mount.
