iOS 7.1.2 is the last one you could run on it if it is a 4. I know a guy at work that still uses his iPhone 4 DAILY and will not update it. It works for what he needs/wants and he is happy with it as is. Keep it around in case this guy needs parts…the parts are worth more than the whole. lol
The charts here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_iOS_devices for how much they support their devices is crazy. iPhone 4S was supported for 93 months!!! It JUST fell off the support train last July 2019!
