Can u buy me a iPhone ? I'm a good person and it sucks to have your daughter show u that her 3gs if u double click the home button u can multitask it's great if I had a iPhone 3gs. But I got a sexy wife but she's mean as fuck so I'm not shure if I'm lucky or what. I had a 3g but my sensitive dog got mad I was paying more attention to it than him so he ate it up bad ! I mean bad ! But he saved my life in a house fire so what am i to do ?

Heres a tip I found
press the power button and the home button at the same time and it takes a pic of your current screen and saves it in your photos. You can email it, MMS it or view it.

You know what sucks? For iPod touch's and iPhone 3G's, you have to jailbreak for Battery percentage.
That's really lame.
No with the 3G you did not need to only on the 3GS because 3GS has voice control if you hold down home button 1st u will activate voice control before you can hit the power button. This information has been verified by CNET.
