I have tried and shared a lot of different screen sharing apps for your phone and Tesla. All of these apps shared one thing in common, Android. They only supported one platform, until today. Tesla Mirror is suppose to work on both Android and iOS. We did have problems with the iOS version but there are additional details to get it to work that I will share below. Being able to share Waze, Google Maps, Chrome Remote Desktop (which Tesla blocks nativity), etc can be useful. Even watching a…

hey can you review again about getting audio? one thing I've been wishing for is the ability to play my own video clips…if I can do that thru the phone, I'd be happy…but not sure what you meant by putting the audio on thru the phone…that's always on, isn't it? And thanks for the nod to checking digital security – I don't use any 3rd party apps as I don't want to handout any potential insecure access to the car. edit: never mind, not paying $25 for it until I am on some kind of road trip and know I will use it more than once…
Nice! Finally!
I would assume should work just fine with S/X?
Clearly not working properly and too expensive to try out. Honestly, over 20 euro?
This is pretty cool! Going to try this on my Pixel 5
Not for $25
Cool! I'll have to come up with a need for this before shelling out $25 for the app.
Awesome mate
Hi Guys 😍💋 💝💖
Thanks for doing this. I wasn’t brave enough.
Doesn’t Wifi turn off once you put it in drive? It looks like when mark puts the car in drive your video froze.
nice
I think you need background App refresh enabled on the iPhone for the app for it work properly. Great video!
I hope to play around with the ios version more. Will report back soon ❤️
iOS Tips from the Devs:
1) For staying connected, I also found iPhone's connection is easy to be interrupted sometimes, it is somehow related to the mobile network signal strength. However, I found a very stable setting for my iPhone 12 Pro Max, it comes with a 5G SIM card. And in iOS –> Settings –> Cellular —> Cellular Data Options —> Voice&Data , here change it to "5G On" (the defaut one is "5G Auto"). By setting "5G On", I got a very stable connection from Tesla to iPhone 12 Pro Max.
2) For iOS, when the screen is locked, the screen sharing will stop. The screen sharing button needs to be pressed again to start screen sharing. This is because of the iOS screen sharing API limitation.
3) And, please make sure to use 5GHz Wi-Fi hotspot if possible, the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi hotspot speed is not so good.
