I'm trying to find someone who knows what they are doing to answer a tough question. I am replacing the back housing on my iPhone 11. I purchased a back housing and behind the tiny hole next to the camera lenses is supposed to be some sort of cover that possibly has to do with the mic? My housing is has nothing here so you can see right through the hole to the outside. It is just above the power and LED flash and top mic cable. I tried removing this from my old housing using heat and being as careful as humanly possible, but it was extremely hard to remove and I messed it up. Any idea what this is and if I can buy it somewhere? I have looked and looked, but there is no info about it. Thanks!

and how do get around 'this is not a genuine apple screen'? iPhone 11 screens are serialized which means you can't just swap a screen with out getting this is a fake screen message. you need to an ic swap as at this moment in time there is no way to read and transfer the info to the new screen…

Dude nice vid in parts but this is a simple repair (exactly same as XR) but you're cutting corners! Noobies are gonna follow your method & leave the plastic strips on the new lcd flex cables which is a bad idea. Remove the plastic strips before connecting the new LCD flex cables!
