First I will say I’m super happy if they bring back the old body style of the iPhone 5 SE By far the best body style of a song ever. Well I have been using wireless charging since it first came to the iPhone. And I use Wi-Fi to since my iPhone to my desktop. AND I use iCloud that backs up my whole phone. Sssooooo I’m good

I honestly have a plastic box with my unused headphones and chargers from my last several phones that I basically just wait until someone mentions needing one and then I conveniently have one they can keep. I’ve been using the same charger that came with my iPad in 2016 to charge my iPhone and iPad.
People in poor countries buy/sell secondhand phones. Most of us didn't have charger leftovers. So please, charger is important, phone and charger should be a 1:1 map. Moreover, if you buy a phone as a gift for older people, or girlfriend, and anyone who are regular users. It's a confusion seeing no charger come in the box.
This is such a simple problem, a charger probably only costs about $4 to produce, don't make e-waste as an excuse. To me charger will never be a junk, i never throw a working one.

For me I like that the charger will not coming in the iPhone 12s and for me I have a red iPhone 11 that has a led display at least I get to get the right iPhone 12 or 12 max in the fall I’m going to save up money to get the iPhone 12 max for 749$ for the 128 gbs of storage and it will take me about 1 to 3 months to save up money needed for me to get the iPhone 12 max and I’ll be happy that for the iPhone 12s will all have OLED displays and I’m good with a OLED display on the iPhone 12 max for the 6.1 inch screen

I Own a samsung s9 plus and I want to get the Iphone 12 which will be my first Iphone ever, so I dont have any iphone chargers laying around and also would like my first iphone to come with its charger as its a necessity and not an accessory. In terms of reducing E-waste I dont see getting rid of the charger as a solution because apple will still manufacture it, copycat companies will manufacture more as people will still buy chargers so will retail stores and the charger being sold separately means a separate packaging and in turn more materials instead of just throwing it in the box where I The consumer decide the fate the product I payed for.

The E-Waste talk is bullshit. Yeah we need to stop (e)waste, but it DOESN'T WORK by not including them in the package. They will still produce the chargers and have them sitting in stock. I live in Brazil and here an Apple 3.5mm DONGLE costs A LOT, imagine a charger. The iPhone 8 Plus here costs 3 to 4 times the MINIMUM WAGE. THE IPHONE E-I-G-H-T P-L-U-S from 2017. Imagine the iPhone 12 WITHOUT a charger. They want only billionaires to buy it. If they want less e waste, industries need to change the way they produce and sell refills, and we need to change the way we consume.
