Thank you for this, I have the 12 Pro Max, due to lockdown I haven’t really had a chance to fully test the camera, but I found your settings useful as I’ve wondered especially scene detection, should it be on or off for better pics, I don’t like the live focus either. Hi, I have just noticed that when I look at some picture I did and I tap on “modify”, the picture get more bright when I am into the modify menù. This only happens with taken pictures, so not with screenshots or received photos. Do you know why is that?

When I make a video with my iPhone 12 pro max and review it . It seems very grainy and very not HD. It’s on 4K and it looks 720p
Using the "slide right-to-capture-video"-gesture will result in a video capture with 1920x1440p and mono sound. So not recommended. It will not use the Camera Settings!
HDR video is NOT only for the pro/pro max . it is also for the mini and normal 12 but for 30 fps instead of 60 fps for the pro models.
