BMW Mobile i App for i8 and i3 on iPhone and Android

BMW have created an i App for use with their i8 and i3 cars (and future models) that runs on iPhone and Android that allows you to see a live in-depth run through of various settings and state of charge for the car.

Phil Winders, UK Product Manager for the BMW i8 takes me on a run through of the software and what it is capable of.

Thanks for watching, Tim

  1. ….hmmm interesting, although I'm tired of staring at screens at work, home, bed, bathroom, restaurants…..now the car!? hmmm I'll keep the M3 w/o navigation.

  2. Shmee, you gotta kind of relax on the "ok" and generally cutting the guy off when you're listening to him speak. I've noticed that you do this in several of your videos. If someone is explaining something to you, you are very quick to say "ok" or "got it" as they are finishing their sentences. If it were me who you were talking to I would feel rushed, feel like you were just trying to hurry me along and didn't really care what I had to say and I would become very annoyed. I honestly am not trying to be an ass here, but I thought I needed to say something. Anyway, I've been subscribed to you for a long time, I LOVE your videos and I really appreciate what you do, please don't be upset about my criticism, this is one comment of dozens and all my other ones have been praise of some sort. Cheers my man.

  3. Video would've been more enjoyable if blondie here didn't keep interrupting the BMW rep who was speaking every 5 seconds. Not only does it make you sound like an unmannered prick, it stops everyone who came to watch the video from actually understanding what the guy is trying to explain. After all, we all come here to watch the cars, not you specifically…

  4. Tim..some of these guys have a point.  Please try not to include yourself so often.  "yeah….ok….l see…blah blah".  Let the guy get 10 words out without making some sort of little comment.  Otherwise…keep up the good work  🙂
