I did a lot of research and came to a conclusion that it won’t harm your device, confirmed by Jake James too but the thing is it just disables sep related options in your device, so less security. You can’t set the password on after jailbreaking too because it will panic and reboot the device 🙂
If you face errors, i also tried it 6-7 times and it worked eventually.

as a Tails user myself and a dell pc user. wanted to note something about the shutdown and booting off yor usb. When you get to the bios, you may not see an option to boot off of your usb. To enable this you need to go to change boot mode settings, then turn off secure boot mode. Then reboot and go to bios and you should see the same exact screen as 6:03. If your using a dell with an f12 key to get you to the bios. But please when you want to go back to windows before just rebooting the pc go to the bios and turn the secure boot mode back on. For good messure maybe just press f1 when booting on secure mode one last time and press the windows boot manager. It should do it automatically though in secure mode. Only reason I say this is from constantly switching from a usb boot to the harddrive boot I have crash my pc many times or just not been able to boot windiws, i later found out it was because I hadn't just put secure boot mode back on, after completely factor resetting my pc many times. Lol. Hopfully can save anyone the trouble.

It did work for me on my iphone 7+ running ios 14.1, however you cannot turn passcode back on afterwards. If you do it
