  1. I've had my phone for a while and its been fine… All of a sudden, it just started heating up… I didn't do anything that would slow it down or anything… I don't know why.

  2. As sad/stupid as this may sound but, my Phone is pretty much all I have, the battery and all sorts have been playing up since last week, I got my Phone reset and taken to Apple, since then my battery going now faster than usual with over-heating!: / soo far, this has been VERY! Helpful, my Phone charges a bit more faster, and fingers crossed my Phone doesn't over-heat

  3. I EASILY FIXED MY IPHONE 4 CRAZY OVERHEATING/BATTERY DRAIN PROBLEM.
I FOUND THAT THE INTERNAL BATTERY CONNECTOR HAS AN EXTRA PEICE, A METAL GROUNDING TO THE COVER "FINGER" THAT SCREWS UNDER THE BATTERY CONNECTOR.
THE FINGER EVIDENTLY HAD SHIFTED OR BENT DOWN AND WAS CAUSING A SHORT WITH THE EXPOSED BACKSIDE OF THE BATTERY CONNECTOR.
YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE BACK COVER OFF THE PHONE AND MOVE THE METAL FINGER OR INSULATE IT..
A FEW HOURS FROM FULL CHARGE AND THE CHARGER WIRE WAS HOT, NOW LIKE NEW!

  4. Yeah, I feel you. Sometimes my iPhone 5 overheats when I'm charging it in the car and using the Maps simultaneously. Let's hope this issue is fixed by the time the final release comes out.

  5. The disabling of the location services helped a lot (on a Iphone4S) – but as soon as you use itunes to sync etc, the overheating comes back. I would postpone till a later beta, or even final release. Had a terrible case before where the overheating actually damaged the battery, and triggered the "water damage" sensor to go red and Apple refused to replace under warranty…
