  1. Every time I export like this I get 4 files on my computer and none of them can be opened or downloaded to YouTube! HELPPP!! What does yours look like on your desktop when you are done?

  2. This was extremely helpful, thank you! question: I've been exporting in high quality, since our video has a lot of movement. But, am I hearing, I would be fine with medium quality, when exporting? Want to make sure people with big TVs have a good experience watching our vides too..thanks!

  3. Thank you for this video. I’m trying to upload movies I’ve created on my iPhone by emailing them to myself and then saving them to my PC. I then upload them to YouTube. However, although shot in 1080 P , the video quality looks terrible like it’s a VHS. Is there a setting to insure the mailed file is 1080p? I can’t save the completed movie to my phone as I never have enough memory.

  4. The problem is if you export that video it will be cut off on most platforms. I’ve been watching different videos trying to figure out how to do it. I flipped my video sideways and exported it and opens with QuickTime and flipped back but I lost my animation. And the clip didn’t switch but played over. It didn’t do that before. Maybe this wrong video. Sorry.

  5. So helpful and well explained. Wondering if you could point me in another direction. I have a 1 1/2 family video that I out together in iMovie. All of the editing has been done NOW I want to burn to a DVD (I know old school) is this possible? If so, any suggestions. Is the thumb drive a better option? If so, how do I know what type of thumb drive to purchase? Thank you so much!!!

  6. When we shared the file to hard drive, it saved the changes we made to the video but didn’t change the audio changes. We did a voiceover due to copyright music but it isn’t exporting the audio portion. Please help?

  7. I'm working on uploading home movies from mini dv cassettes to imovie and then from imovie to icloud or dropbox. I uploaded the first cassette which is probably over an hour's worth of video to imovie, but when I Select All and then click File and select Share, the options are grayed out so I can't select File. Or if I click the Share icon at the top right and click File, nothing happens. Is it because my file is too large? What options do I have?

  8. Hi Meredith, thank you for this video. My iPhone will not let me save any videos because it says that videos are still downloading from iCloud. I have checked my storage and I have very little of my iCloud storage used. This is also just a short 7 minute video. I am working on an iPhone 11.

  9. iMovie removed the feauture that lets you upload you’re movie or project instantly to youtube, and of course you also need to edit the Project’s Details..

  10. Hi. Great video!! In minute 1:18 in the far upper left corner I see your one completed video. Just made my first movie and saved it but in that same section under project media mine just has the 12 clips that I had used in that one movie. Can you tell me when I’m doing wrong? Thank you!
