noticed a little delay on the facetime but other than that great review im getting my ipad delivered tommorow and you should do a review on pages for ipad if you havent already
@ndgreenaway Seriously…a rear facing camera on a tablet…that is so stupid…who is going to use that more than once…front facing is all you need…and if you want a decent video chat…it better "not" be a 5MP camera…hopefully the next round of tablets won't have rear facing cameras…I don't want to pay for something I'm never going to use…
@ArtKob23 well, i got the ipad2 yesterday. i'm amazed at two things:
1. the cameras really does SUCK! bigtime. like an oldtime vga mobile cam. aweful…
2. Facetime actually works really good! even though the cameras suck. the pictures are fluid, no lag, it actually works.
but i'm still disappointed at the quality of the pictures/film that the camera sends… the quality of Facetime is NOT worth the hype, due to crappy quality…
@ArtKob23 actually, this is one of the things i like about youtube. nerds like this guy showing nerds like me how stuff works and looks before so i can better judge for myself if this is a product i like and want to buy. i'm an android-guy, but thinking of buying an ipad because of better apps available, and actually searched for a demo of facetime in particular. glad i found it, even though there are many of them…
ok so you're saying the cameras on ipad arent that great, question is, is there a difference between ipad front camera and iphone's, ipod's? which one is better at facetime calling ( video quality)?
