Hey Chaps! What phones shall I add in my next Battery test?
👉 NOTE: Had a question why iPhone 12PM was still 'on' when I called time on it. Reason: I booted the phone again to double check it fully died, it powered off 5s after turning back on but coincidentally that's the b roll clip I used 😅 I ran this entire test twice (fun couple of days..) – and the results are the same.

That was 1 heck of a difficult test, salute to u man. Now regarding results I’m surprised with s20 ultra it’s kinda disappointing.
I have no idea how you are all getting 9+ hours from the Exynos 21 Ultra… I am struggling to get anything over 4.5hrs SoT… Even when the screens off its draining battery like mad. Optimised everything possible and closing all apps after use and it makes no difference.
For 2227mah, the iPhone 12 Mini still done decently, definitely usable all-day general battery use.
What I've seen either the battery life on E2100 and SD 888 are similar or the E2100 is better with battery now this is interesting and weird. Could it be for reasons like third party apps running differently in background of both devices?

This test is not serious.
Tune samsung down to 60fps and you'll get 12 hours battery life

God, imagine the iPhones with 5000mah battery.
FYI adaptive refresh on the samsungs do not trigger power savings when in ambient light conditions of under 40 lux. Therefore as brightness levels are increased the Samsungs may fare better. This is actually one of the reasons battery comparison tests typically have vastly different results.
Also another thing to note, interestingly the screen consumes less power when running QHD over FHD on the S21 Ultra, so perhaps a test in brighter conditions and higher resolution may offer better results.
These results vary from Youtubers to youtubers.. in some videos Samsung did better in the battery drain test.. hence it doesn't really matter i guess..

S20 Ultra – only has ultra in its name but in reality NOTHING ultra 😂🤣
It's just same to 12 mini battery life, had tremendous heating issue, had worst camera on a smartphone focusing 🤣😂

I am running with my new Samsung S21 really very happy and enjoying it. The sound is great it is like I have my large Bluetooth Speaker on though it is only the on board system.

I think you should redo it but with samsung in 60fps
I feel like these battery drain tests are subjective since I've seen similar tests where the snapdragon s21u crushes the apple offerings.

All are amazing smartphones! Plus the sheer efficiency of A14 Bionic is head turning! Do hope they increase the capacities next year with the 120hz displays to at last (3,200mAh’s on Pro) and 4,100mAh’s on Max)
Very surprising how the exynos S21 ultra did worse than snapdragon because all other tests and reviewers I've seen say they are bang on equal in battery life

A fair competition would be all at 60hz .120hz really hurts the battery .so that amnt of on screen with 120hz is bang for battery i say .
