before you do this might wanna check the glove box mine came with an aux in it……..
For those doing this themselves pick up nylon (plastic) tools. If not you risk screwing up your interior panels, and having to look at a marred up panel after all of your hard work sucks. Or worse, I end up with this car having my OCD self having to look at these panels. Lol. Harbor Freight sells them for $8, and Wish has them for less than $3.

Great video! I used it to remove the Premium 8 radio from my 2010 TDI after it died a sudden death Friday night while cranking a Genesis CD. Went to Oreilly nearby and got a plastic popper tool set and a Torx set. Thanks for the info.

As mentioned on the website, the disc changer uses the connection required by the kit, so you can't install it.

oh no i was talking bout the stock ipod that came from that car, the ipod dock. Your ideas are great, mind you, i wish i could purchase one of this on my wife's jetta. Have you not notice the stock ipod that was being wobbly from so many use?
