#songtember up on my channel! ‘Regulator’. Just hit the release button on distrokid too so it’ll be in stores in a couple of days 🙂 cheers Pete.
Wow I already heard enough and thought it was hard, turns out its really not that confusing
"Record your noodles people"
-Pete Johns
LOL
GB is definitely a notebook for songwriters. It's also a full-featured DAW. I think the absolute best feature of GB is its ability to capture music thoughts in seconds. Thanks, Professor. There are many GB dabblers out there and these vids should inspire. I wish I had GB when I was a kid. "I could have been a contender!" ; )
Good morning Mr Johns… this has given me that 'Creed' vibe! (compliment from an English bloke in France) 👍🏻
I use an iPad on iPad dock , so can’t play drums and view track so can see what’s coming up .
Love it, sounds like a band practicing. And, in a way, it is!
Strangely enough, I was noodling before I watched this and ended up recording a drum beat to go with an idea. Never know what might stick!
Nice job! When your a guitar player, Bass tends to be a little difficult to find the right fit. The only thing I would suggest, and its what I also have to remind my self, with bass, you have a whole fret board. don't be afraid to amalgamate a higher octave into the bass licks? in saying that, who am I to be giving advice LOL
I was told years ago by a old muso, that bass should be laid down first as it sets everything. Then drums follow the bass. He was a guitarist and pianist, but he said that he held bass in very high stead, which tends to be the opposite of a lot of thinking i have come across. I've tried this approach myself and found that my music is still a train wreck! I can only hope to have a small amount of your talent mate!
Cheers
Record your noodles is a GEM. 👍🇦🇺. You could do a whole video on that phrase.
Good stuff Pete!
I should do this sort of thing and see what my subconscious comes up with
Great riffs mate! Do you listen to Kings X? There is a real Ty Tabor vibe around some of those grooves man, really tasty!
NIce guitar riff ……. 🙂
Yo!
Can u show how to make some bass loops
U the best
Nice one Pete, never seriously considered this approach, I’m going to give it a try, thanks.
Got some great riffs in there Pete. I could learn something from that loose approach 👍🏼
Hey, Pete!
It hasn't even started and someone already doesn't like it! 😂
