  1. maybe some people want to have apple hardware like the retina screen and pretty good processor and stuff like that have an Ipad don't feel like selling and buying something different and just want something simple to use android is a lot more user friendly plus it's open source and so the possibilities are endless yes maybe right now it isn't as smooth but as updates come out for the software I'm sure it'll just keep getting better again the beauty of android it can always get better

  2. Buying new things costs money. It's the same reason many people have OSX on their PCs. Not to mention the whole "best of both worlds" idea. That's why I put OSX on my computer; I wanted to try out the OS in everyday life, but didn't feel like putting a couple grand down on an OS (since you're essentially paying that much money for a perfectly stable version of the OS when you know how to build computers yourself) I didn't even know I'd like. I don't really care for it, by the way.

  3. (continue) In this case, which means I have to bring 2 tablets every time I go. It is too stupid and heavy for me. Therefore I am looking for tablet that has ios and android system at the same time. Can this be a reason?

  4. (continue) However, I actually found an app on android which allows me to type by using Cantonese pinyin method straightly type into the place that I want to use Chinese (not copy and paste). But you may say I can just buy an Android tablet to fix this problem. Then my second reason comes up, there are some apps I found on ios are not available on Android and some android app are not available on ios.

  5. I want to put Android system into my ipad 2, and at the same time I want to keep the ios system. I want to do that is because of 2 reasons 1) I am Chinese from Hong Kong, not from mainland China, so I don't know how to type Chinese in mandarin pinyin method; If I want to use Cantonese pinyin method on ipad, I have to download an app, then type by using that, then copy and paste it to the place that I want to put the words in.

  6. No, but you can sell your unwanted iPad & buy an android. WTF is the matter with your brain you couldn't figure that out? Apple gear holds re-sale value better that any other brand.

  7. In the same vein, I am far from a photographer and as a result I find it difficult to comprehend that people spend so much money play around with their settings and lenses so much to get a (from a non-enthusiast's viewpoint) marginally better photo quality to a standard £50 digicam on default settings which is easier to operate for me.

As far as I'm concerned it is nothing more than a difference of value and I don't think it's fair for you to blanket bomb a different community with such hate.

  8. Software development is as much a hobby as it is a job so I feel the need to reverse your statement from the video…

    Let it go… relax. chill.

People like tinkering with their toys and even if it doesn't make sense to you, it does to thousands of others so repeating your point only drives home that you are unable to grasp the more base enthusiast's values. (to be cont…)

  9. The pen example I can definitely tell you the reasoning behind, as I have done that in the past: The blue pen has a much better feel than any black pen available but the writer does not like the appearance of blue ink.

The same reasoning probably does not apply to tablets. After all, in my case the nice blue pen was free and I had plenty of black cartridges from cheap pens available.

  10. Go easy on them, Blunty… for they don't know what they're saying.

Really, most people asking these seemingly stupid questions are just normal people with normal lives, doing douchy things like joy riding around in their raggedy ass trucks and getting drunk… so one time between that they feel flashy and try to HACK their iPad they just bought for the bling.
    Does that sum it up?

  11. Ok, here r the benefits to android. Free mp3 downloader app that works, paid apps are much cheaper on android than they are on iOS, plus the benefit of android on an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch? That's awesome. U still have awesome hardware, with great, highly customizable software to go with it. Plain and simple, but everyone has their own likes and dislikes of ios and android. I have an original iPad, and would like to install android sometime. I have a phone with android 4.0 ics on it. Got t

  12. no i not, there are free emulators on the android market, apple don't have them on the app store. i would only install the android OS, which is not hacking as i don't hack

  13. Well, think about it. If you put android system and an ipad together, its like putting positive and negative together. Now, this is scientifically impossible, but since we can do it would defy all physics, get me a nobel award prize on antimatter, create a black hole the size of the bus and give the user of this world domination. Does this answer your query, Mr. Blunty?
