tell me that i want to use a different carrier so i have to unlock my phone,is it possble that i unlock my phone without jailbreaking.or if it is neccessary to jail break for unlocking can i remove jail break after unlocking.actually i am against jail breaking bcz i have heard that it reduces ur battery timing a lot.and also after jail breaking can i use itune applications.and how to ceck that a particular phone is jailbreaken or not

@HippoShemp No its another jailbreak just to update so you dont have to un jailbreak restore the jailbreak again

if i do this jailbreak (its 3.00 right now), will all my data, music, apps, etc be deleted? and does it work on 3.00 or ONLY 3.1.2?
