You can do this but you will encounter tons of errors. It's better to just use the new software that came out that can jailbreak up to the 6.0.1 update at –> JailBreaker . COM <– Everything is up to date and worked for me in Jbing my iPhone 4 on 6.0 and iPad 2.

Can someone help me? I tried doing this thing and I got up to the part where it asks me to go into DFU mode. I have an iPod Touch 3G 8GB MC model and I turn off my iPod, follow the steps, and it turns on like normal. I tried multiple times and it does not work. Any ideas, plz?
