I also followed all the steps and everything seems to work until I hit "start broadcast" and then it looks like it's going to do something but just goes to the purple app icon on the screen. It shows a ticker on my phone like it's going but nothing else shows on the tv screen. Also there's the spinning wheel thingy. Does that mean it's not connected? One other thing is that the tv is connecting to one network and my phone is connecting to a different one. Is that the problem?

Will it work on a regular philips smart tv without roku or an Amazon stick? The tv has an option for wireless screen casting but can’t figure out how to get it to recognize my phone
