Update 11/3/2017: Another option is to get a Sennheiser Smart Headset… but at $299, it might be cheaper to buy a camera with a stereo 3.5mm jack and record binaural that way.

Not sure what to think. Listened last night without headphones and it sounded clean and very nice. Put on some pretty good headphones today and hear a constant rumbling. That can't be natural or I'd be running for cover. Thanks for the demo and idea.

I think I may have found the person who can help me. Thank you for your video. I want to record videos on my iPhone 7 using my camera app and a USB mic (blue snowball ice). Will the lightning to usb 3 connector work on an iPhone? It seems that there is inaccurate information on this. Some people say you can use the adapter for the iPhone, but I’ve read otherwise and Apple’s product description specifically mentions use for the iPad, not the iPhone. My question is, will the audio setup in your video do the trick? Is this what I need to do to record video on my camera app with good sound quality? What would you recommend? Alternatively, I suppose I could just get a webcam. LOL

Which video applications support stereo input? When I use the iPhone default video app, it still only records the audio as if it is mono, even though it accepts the stereo input.
So, I plugged stereo audio from my audio mixer into my iPhone X with the camera adapter and only got mono audio. I did the same thing with my iPad mini 4, which is years older than my iPhone X and I get stereo audio. What the hell Apple ?

Does the app VIDEO accept USB audio input? How is the sound quality? Your examples could not really demonstrate.
This is truly unbelievable. The sound is fantastic. I'm curious how you carry the setup now. If you post another video on how you carry them that would be super helpful. The external battery really adds some clutter to things but the sound you're getting is definitely worth it.
