How to Set a Song As Your Ringtone on iPhone



Learn how to set a song as your custom ringtone on your iPhone in this short tutorial video.

1. Open iTunes
2. Make sure that your song is in iTunes
3. Find the section of the song that you want to use
4. Open the song’s information menu – Click the song to select it, click Edit (Windows) or File (Mac), and click Song Info (Windows) or Get Info (Mac) in the resulting drop-down menu. A window will open.

  1. It wont convert to an acc because protected files cannot be converted. Is it the song or what am I doing wrong? Also the song name is "You reposted in the wrong neighborhood" HELP PLS!

  3. Hi I didn’t work for me. When I converted the song then I clicked to show on windows explorer then after that there is no m4a written on my converted song. Do you know how to fix that. Tnx

  4. Kevin, I am going to try this tomorrow. If you are around, at the end of your assist, you say the song is only 10 seconds long. I though it could be 30 second long. Please explain. I thought we deleted the 10 second song when created. Thank you so much.

  5. When I am trying to convert to ACC I get the following pop up message in Itunes: "The song's title" could not be converted because protected files cannot be converted to the other formats. What can I do?
