  1. Any chance you can update these steps to work under iTunes most current version 12.7.0.166??? Noticed many steps have either changed, got dropped or modified (driving me crazy) since your tutorial here. Thank you and much appreciated!

  2. I cannot see the 30 second version. I went to Control Panel and made sure Hide extensions for known file types was unchecked. I still cannot see the 30 second version. Help.

  3. when i click "show in windows explorer" there is no "m4a" next to the files name however the icon for the files says "m4a." how do i apply the change of the "a" to an "r"?

  4. hey guys, i did all the stuff in this video, but after renaming the file to .m4r, and selecting TONES. It shows me nothing. Cant see any Tone file in iTunes. Pls help.

  5. I download my music form listentoyoutube.com but when i try to follow your steps it everystep workes okay till I get to the point where I need to change the name from m4a to m4r, but when i click on  "rename" the name of the song appears with no m4a, any advice?

  6. I have windows 7 and I did everything you said with the windows explorer thing but when I rename the file and try to open it, it says that it could not open the file. What should I do?

  7. This took me an entire evening thanks to multiple files having been created and then the Tones folder mysteriously disappearing (!), but thanks to your advice and a big file cleanup (which I should have done before starting) I got there in the end. Cheers! 🙂
