How will this work with imac, ipad and iphone that are synched for photos? Will deleting photos on iphone to free up icloud storage delete photos on other devices?

1 more thing I experienced in google photos in iPhone is that, suppose you’ve turned off backup and sync in Gphotos (although setting on high quality backup) but you manually want to upload photos, though it shows you the backup option and when you will back up, photo will be uploaded in original quality, consuming the space of free 15 Gb storage). Got to know after consumed 3 GB 😢

What's your suggestion for backup up everything on Google Photos? I plan to have in Google Photos all photos from my mobile devices plus all old photos that I've scanned. Is there a way to backup or sync Google Photos to an external drive connected to my Mac?
Also, when getting to my photos on Google Photos is it best to use the browser or the desktop/mobile apps?

Google Photos is trash on iOS. It never want to backup anything like on Android. It's useless on iOS 13 for me

One issue, the app is not backup in the background, you need actually open the app and wait for the backup completed, which is so annoying…any solution?

Dan, I have a issue with this app… Sometime he don't backup all pictures, specially if it is not in jpeg format… And the Google Photos don't backup anyway, it is skipped and that's it. It also happen with vídeos (specially the larger ones, but happen also with some shorts).
Due to that I backup my files twice, in Google Photos (because it's free and the search is amazing) and in iCloud.
Do you have any tip to that? How can I fix this issue in Google Photos?

Hello! I have a question , i use Google photos for safe my videos there so my phone will have more space, so when i put my videos on Google photos i erase the videos of my phone. But when i want to look a video that i safe in Google photo i dont know why but it take like 2 minute to load the video why :/? Is suck.. when i want to watch a video i want to watch right now Not wait 2 minutes.. :/ why is doing that? Is because i have the free versión of Google photo?
