  1. Hi Gary! I’m sorry to bother you, but I ran across your video here and I really, really need some help. I also sent a DM to your Instagram account.

Long story (very short), someone hacked my friend’s Instagram account. I was able to convince them to give the account back, and ended up through sheer dumb luck not giving them money to do it, thought they thought I did. He’s now back and trying like mad to access my account and I’m terrified.

I watched this video on YubiKey and am interested in those, but I can’t tell from your video on the YubiKey 5 NFC whether it would work on Instagram specifically, which is currently the chief account I am concerned for the protection of.

I have 2 factor authentication set up and that seems to be offering me protection so far, but I never want this to happen again so I’d love to hear your thoughts on YubiKey for sort of a layperson like me who just wants protection and peace of mind, and is lightly tech savvy at best. Can you help me?

  2. Yubikey 5c not working on my Samsung Tab A nor my Samsung A40 Smart phone . Tried adding my 5C as a second key and it said key not recognised plus, when I plug in my 5C to my tablet or smartphone it says something went wrong. Help please ?

  3. So if I have two YubiKey’s I simply repeat the process for the backup key? Basically any account I setup should have two keys setup? One primary and one backup?

  4. I would like to use his key to unlock an Apple phone. Because I’m legally blind. I understand this is used for a second authentication. I love to see your fingerprint scanner on this device in the future.

  5. Thanks to a certain French company I've just had all my details leaked across the web now, i was recommended this for extra security for my phone, can i also use this on a windows pc using a usb C adaptor?

  6. Is the nfc *non-lightening yubikey able to work with iphone + nfc + gmail? My iPhone recognized the key but gmail did not. It just opened a safari browser.

  7. Can the YubiKey 5Ci be used to enter the static password into an iPhone (with the lighting connector) ? In the standard app (Notes, for example) or in a password prompt anywhere…

  8. I think windows is doomed. Mac OS to ARM transition is now getting whole mobile apple store, half of the apps will be optimized for the desktop, Apple on ARM will be much much more faster than windows on x86 and more richer, I think Android should invest into a desktop mode, you just connecting your phone to a monitor and getting a desktop system with optimized apps, browser, 3d , video editing, some gaming. It would be good for a low income countries(you need less devices), global warming and e-waste problem. Windows cannot into ARM(their recent second attempt has failed too)

  9. I don't get why I can't use YubiKeys Security Key for login legitimisation.

I just use the pamu2f module and I'm good to go or am I missing something?
