The iPhone 12 Mini is one of the more underrated models in the Apple iPhone 12 lineup. For still photography and video – the quality is simply outstanding. But what makes it unique is the tiny form factor. This allows you to create on the go more easily than any device I’ve used.

  1. I git this phone a few months ago as a free upgrade (couldn’t beat the price). I love it! I will be using it for social media photos and some video when i dont feel like using my iPad Pro. Loving that light!

  2. I got a iPhone 12 a while ago. I think the camera is surprisingly good. They didn’t have the Pro in stock when I got it but to be honest, I don’t mind because if it requires a telephoto lens, you should probably use a proper camera.

  3. Okey, will we see a video comparing phone and camera under different than perfect conditions? Every youtuber taken an iPhone and other camera with matching lens to the perfect conditions and shoot staged photos. I dont want to be mean. But under perfect conditions I could make great photos with 300 dollar/eur android phone. Try already put those phones under more interesting tests.

  4. I gave my tv away 1994. One of the main reasons was annoyance over adda. In have YouTube premium to avoid adds. But I enjoyed every second of this video knowing it was an add (after the sneaky intro;-) That's the way to do it! For a long time now this channel is AOP + AOV and always on the same level of excellence!

  5. The lack of the tele lens is the deal breaker for me. In fact, this option was the only reason I chose the 12 Pro Max. I don't like the size of it at all and would prefer the form factor of the Mini instead, but I just don't want to rely on digital zoom when the sensor is so small and offers just 12 megapixel.

  6. I have had the iPhone 12 Mini (Project Red) since it came out last year, I am very disappointed with the camera and the lens in the iPhone 12 Mini for still photography, my old Microsoft Lumia 950 makes better images ! The price are too high for the iPhone 12 Mini (almost every smartphone are too expensive !), I do like the compact size of the iPhone 12 Mini, but I will like it to be thicker, for better hand holding and then it can have space for a larger sensor camera and a much better Lens ! I only need one Lens, the extreme wide angle Lens in the iPhone 2 Mini are crap !!! I use the normal wide angle camera/Lens and makes panorama in stead.

  7. Another Great video Ted…. My Wife and I both just upgraded from an Phone X to a iPhone12 Pro Max, “trade in was $830.00, and paid the difference , so we basically upgraded for 270.00 plus taxes on the device each…. Thanks to my carrier T-Mobile….and with Magenta Military Max, I pay 200.00 for service with 5 phones and 2 iPads on my plan…;)

  8. The photos from the mini seem pretty good and very sharp, but I would have to disagree with you on the video. To me, the video shot on the mini while you were walking around was very jittery and not smooth at all. It left me wondering where the image stabilization was. BTW, I love your channel and watch a ton of your videos. This is probably the first time I've disagreed with anything you've posted. Thanks for the great content!

  9. It still puzzles me why so many YouTube photographers and gear reviewers rave about the image quality of phones but can dismissive of Micro Four Thirds cameras, which can cost less than a phone and are much better for taking photos and video, and directly to phone with the appropriate app.
