Why do reviewers have to defend every feature/lack of feature decision?
Untill last year: 720p is decent fine but it's apple
This year: 1080p is so much better
Untill last year: the rounded corner is great
This year: Flat design is so much better
Honestly year after year the upgrades don't justify the bumped up price. And the value of the iPhone is deteriorating.
Hopefully they get rid of the ugly patented notch, improve the battery and stop removing existing features to call it a feature.
I come back to these Apple reviews when I'm not even an Apple user, for Marques' subtle and not so subtle trolls he gives all the new Apple devices.

I don't care about 120Hz vs 60Hz on a phone, because it's a phone, it's different from a computer, like, you can't upgrade the GPU on a phone, and 120Hz kills battery. and while your phone does have a BIOS, you can't access it easily, especially on an iPhone, even if you access it, you won't see any options for overclocking the CPU or GPU, add to that that apps get more intensive over time, and that you can't upgrade the GPU on a phone, I would rather not have to deal with these issues and live with 60Hz. Yes, 120Hz looks smoother, but is the difference big enough to be worth it to deal with these hassles? Especially when 60Hz is smooth enough for me?
Should I get this or the iPhone 11?

Let me tell you what it is actually not recommended to use 5G for now since not all phones were optimised for it and also the transmission range, it’s not very far so that’s why it’s so terrible. Putting a lot of 5G towers is so impractical
This is kinda surreal and weird. iPhone 12 going for a flat look? What about iPhone 5!? I remember when that shit was still new and slowly after iPhone 5, till 11 they went for that round look and now they're going back to the flat look and it's being praised for it!? Man design really just comes and goes and then comes back. I always did like the iPhone 5's look more than newer ones and it's nice they're going back to the old look.

damn Americans you got to pay for 5g? I can't remember ever paying extra for new technology, for example last year I upgraded to 100mbps fiber internet over a phone call, same price as before. I remember getting 2g, 3g, 4g/LTE the same way, it's advertised as a bragging feature from providers but it's upgraded to all costumers for free when they start upgrading their networks.
