I’d be willing to bet that you’ve sunk hours and hours of time into TikTok without even realizing it. Yeah, me too, but is Apple trying to block that behavior with future iPhones and iOS updates? Let’s talk about it.

  1. Apple has enough money and talent to develop and include an app similar to TikTok and Instagram, even like FaceBook! They have very talented people who could even offer much better apps than those!

  2. These services are double dipping. They are making billions off ad revenues and more off the sale of our information. We get nothing other than a constant stream of ads on an app designed to suck up all your time. I want a cloaking mode so apple can generate a fake persona by picking a random gender, location, age, etc. I say make the apps like 99 cents with ads or 3.99 ad free and no data scraping.
Or give me 5% of all the revenues earned off me… what they do now is kind of like the mafia forcing you to pay for protection, from them…

  3. Til tok needs to banned first and Facebook and Google as per customer rights.. Sometimes.. Apple ends Facebook.. in which you've made a complete video is ridiculous…. Please.. be realistic.. You sure have a big mouth…

  4. For me I think apple should go all the way on this because out apps tracking I ended up becoming a an identical theft victim of the but by time it it was all said and done the damage was done it would have been nice to know in the future so I’m on board with what their doing but I agree it is sloppy slope but as long as apple keep using it for its intended porpoise then I can’t for see the problem

  5. This is a hypocritical company they call Apple. They want to band these apps because of privately problems. When this hypocritical company wants to scan every photo You have. So the can have you put you in jail if your doing something wrong. I would call that a big privacy problem of apple fucking with Your privacy that is BS.

  6. I’ll pay three times as much for a iPhone, if Tim Cook bans TikTok. I don’t even like Tim Cook and would probably have sex with him to get rid of TikTok and Twitter. I can’t tell what I would do if he gets rid of Facebook.

  7. Look Facebook-Vine (TikTok) is in China and that is problem for us as non-Chinese citizens and I am sure it is not allowed by EU GDPR or Canadian CDPR law.
But honestly if you are okay with your personal data being in China and you are too cheap to pay for a web experience then suck it.
I really don't care about people who use social media platforms: The people who use them cannot actually function in real life outside the app and we as employers love to see your Facebook or Tiktok (Vine for Gen Z) posts so we know who you are and if we should hire you. I know my friend in the NSA records it too so go ahead and give up your life to the platforms and suck it.

  8. My phone already tells me what permission each app wants and what they want it for as well as lets me know when an app is trying to tap into my location as well as other things and I'm not even on Android 12 apple is kind of late to the game and as usual tech YouTubers are acting as this this is something new
