Well I shattered the iphone 8 my school gave me so I guess I don't have much choice. I'm not paying them 500$ if I can do this myself for as little as 60
I just did this and my home button is super sensitive, stil works but if i put my finger on for a second it just clicks alot. anyway i can go back in and replug in the home button or is it toast? iphone 8

Fuck this guy…by following his tutorial I damaged the speaker connection now I can’t hear through the speaker.
The screen kit I bought for my iPhone 8 on Amazon contained a qrcode with a set of links for directions. Didn’t notice until i was halfway through this video that the link it gives for the screen replacement video is this exact video! XD
If you followed this from the QR code in that kit from Amz, you don’t have to remove the camera, speaker etc. The home button is the only component that needs to be switched over.
i reccomend to wear a ground braclet so you dont shock the phone
