"Level Performance" yeah no kidding, like when I tilt my 2017 apple MacBook Air and the screen and keyboard back light turn off until I "level" out the laptop. You may ask.. why would you watch your laptop "un-leveled" well when im chillin as a side sleeper in bed I prefer a bit of tilt as I lean it on my leg. REGARDLESS I have never experienced this unfortunate "bug" with any other device and there is in fact a reddit about this issue. This issue isnt absolutely intolerable I still love the sleek form factor of this laptop and im in love with the keyboard of this particular model which was released on sale right before the failed butterfly keyboard came out the following year and flopped. The laptop as well has good enough sound imho. The only other issue im experiencing is what feels to be an accelerated feeling of my device becoming outdated through updates that apple admittedly implements performance busters and in my personal experience my laptop performs less and works more.. it heats up faster and loses battery faster so there's a factor of loss of performance that is not embraced but rather practically forced upon apples community.. between this charade and the fact that parts in flagship tech is only realistically updatable in china due to their electronic parts market and the constrictions on the western worlds market regarding tech part accessibility… this is a scam all the way around and the only reason they get away with it is because they can.
