There seems to be a bit of a design flaw with the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S where the power button / Sleep Button stops functioning. If you are out of warranty you may not want to pay for a replacement. If so, this is great little hack to allow you to continue to lock your phone without using the hardware button.
