You know, hold your Iphone near the person for 10 seconds or so, and all vital information then shows up on your screen (i.e. name, date of birth, social security number, marital status, mental health etc.)
Everybody carries around a camera/microphone with a satellite link these days. It would be stupid to think that any world government would not be looking for other ways to listen in. It's their job. With VOIP software capable of encrypting the data stream itself, simply intercepting is no longer good enough. It might be easier and more reliable to just observe through the phone directly. Look up "NSAKEY" for an example of how this could be done with the cooperation of a member of industry.
