Very inspiring.
I'm from New Zealand and Mark Hadlow as of this week, is acting in a pantomime Cinderella, here in Christchurch! He's such a great actor!! ON the plus side, i'm super proud of this film being shot on iPhone and here in Aotearoa (Maori for New Zealand)
Just an awesome interview!!!! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿I’m impressed by everything associated with this movie! They really did a great job on it! Story, acting, cinematography, and yes directing! The one thing his filmmaking tells you is that there’s no excuse why you can’t make a movie!!! I wish nothing but the best for his next project!!!! Great job!!
WHAT WAS THE APP YOU MENTION AT ARONND 11.30 MINS ?? PLS
My first feature is going to be on Iphone..Writing ..!!
Oh, I am getting really… really jalous! How can they do it? I tried hundred tines, but I got no cinematic result..
Those two experienced actors definitely killed it. We all know it's hard to work under pressure.
I just bought a copy on Vimeo not only out of interest from what you did last year but to support their efforts. Knowing what a fully-dressed-out iPhone 12 Pro Max costs here in Australia ($A2300), money in NZ would be close to $N3000 I'd imagine. Just occurred to me: maybe I should buy one and pay it off by letting them rent mine! I haven't been to NZ since 2011, oops .. COVID-19!
Thanks! I’ve been following this film’s progress! I’m also digging the “Hattori Hanzo” shirt! LOL!
This film is so inspiring! Loved that they made it without waiting for permission. A genuinely brilliant film.
Stef!!! The man; the myth; the legend! Great interview. This made my morning.
Great interview! Would like to see more like this on films shot with mobile phones, preferably iPHONEs. 🙂
Also do you know if they shot in log on the iPhone 7 then color corrected in post, or if it’s the natural iPhone video?
Very interesting to inspiring to watch this discussion. I’ve been planning to make a longer short film on iPhone and it’s very legitimizing to hear how someone successfully made a film on one!
Thank you…this content is incredibly valuable to all creatives on so many levels!
as a beginner who makes sci-fi shorts with his phone, this is one of the movies I've been looking forward to seeing (the other being Ghost). I've been waiting for this since they seeded the mobile filmmaking groups with BTS stuff. The minute I saw the iPhonegrapher's blog…I just went to Amazon and purchased it. Can't wait to watch it. Definitely inspiring folks.
Love to see actors helping out on set! When Mark did the slate for that take I knew this must have been a fun shoot. 🤘🏼
Congratulations to the entire Blue Moon cast and crew on the distribution. Looking forward to watching it.
Dang it, so Jealous.
Amazing! Can't wait to check out the film.
Forgive me if I've said this before on another post . . . Used to be , in the beginning, that cell phones had cameras. Now, the 12 Pro Max is camera with a cell phone.
