I just made a tin foil antenna extender and put it on my phone and put the case on with it sticking out, seems to work a bit

Its not just a small amount, the numbe you see is in dBm (decibelmilliwatt), going from -114 to -102 is actually a 6times higher signal strength (its logarithmic).
To be honest…i need that thing at school…they kill almost all the signal..

Increasing the signal between you and your router will not make your internet any faster unless your signal strength was so low that you had issues maintaining a connection to the router. If you have a solid 1 bar connection to a router, 1 bar that never goes away… having 3 bars does not make it faster, it just means the signal between you and your router is stronger.

Damn, bad signal but faster internet on there (US). great signal but SLOW internet (INA). meanwhile in here the down speed is just 5mbps, the slowest one is 0.7
