They should’ve made it where you double tap the screen. Good thing the new updates made it where you can swipe up to close each app. Still no “close all” like android

What if the red minus doesn't appear after holding your finger on the app your trying to close
One of many annoying things about iPhones. The most annoying for me is the notch. It's just ugly. I changed to Android 7 months back and am very happy with my Xperia XZ3 👍

Close an app that’s running? Is doesn’t work like that. Virtually all those apps aren’t running, and you’re killing people’s battery life by perpetuating this myth!
When I hold the apps in my app switcher the X doesn’t appear. It just does that little vibration it lifts up and goes back in place.

I still can’t do it. iPhone XS is so bad the only reason I bought it for is the excellent camera. It’s really bad with regards to call volumes (speaker) so unless you need a great camera just stick to iPhone 6!
