The iPhone XR is Apples cheapest new iPhone. It’s the budget iPhone XS for those that don’t want to shell out a $1000. It’s packed with a lot of great hardware and most of the same features. But the display makes it feel a little cheap. I really dig the iPhone XR blue and Coral colours!

bad display. it issimple bcoz most apple users experince the 720 p display all the time .so it is good for them

I just got the iPhone XR about 2 weeks ago and I love it! If your not a speck nerd and you don’t need the latest and greatest don’t listen to him I’m the XR is a very good phone and the display is very nice! By the way ITS NOT 720p!!!! It’s 828p!!!! So it’s better than 720p!!! You can watch 1020p videos!!!

The only reason I didn’t get the XR was the display. No 3D Touch and lacklustre resolution. Super disappointing.
If it was 500 dollars when it came out it woule be fine, but 750 is just overpriced, as always i should say.

I switched from OnePlus 6 to XR. Display is 828p and is just fine. I like it. Don't even bother about the display on XR.

The display is great. I was afraid by all those youtubers hating around. Then I went to the store, compared the displays and bought a yellow XR. The colours are extremely accurate and thats what matters the most for me. The bazels are to much, but you don't recognize them after some hours. The resolution matches the size of the display as easy it is. For me, there is no need for higher resolution as I can't see the pixels while using it. I think it's better to safe the power of the GPU and the battery, instead of pushing it into higher resolution screens, where you don't have any benefits from it. But I think the same about monitors. Some people want 24" UHD monitors even when you cant use the resolution at this display size.
The point is that can u see the difference in 1080p to 828p.
If u do, go another phone.
If u dint, just stay fine with it.
The 8 plus has a better 1080p panel with 402 ppi so why did they have to downgrade the display on the xr makes no sense and then took away 3d touch on top of it all…
This is almost like the car industry. Most cars have V6 engines and now a newer model of that car comes out with a 4 cylinder turbo that uses premium fuel and still slower the the V6 but cost more.
The 8 plus has a 1080p display and the 8 has a 750p display
