You are watching different videos on your battery test . If you let it do everything the same , the iPhone XS Max last longer than Note 9
XS is much more better than X , while XR is almost the same as XS

Your note 9 only lasted longer because you had the resolution lower, which is dumb that it comes like that default, if you have better than a HD display take advantage of it, and a fair comparison would be to have it on max resolution as the iPhone is always on the max, because than the battery life is not as long as the iPhone XS Max

For speed tests you need to use the same server at the same time, or the results don't mean anything. Otherwise good video.
