“Your Premier Source For iPhone’s And iPod’s”

If you are an iPhone 4 user you would know that the very cool feature called FaceTime, which allows you to make video calls, can only be used when on Wi-Fi. Well with the release of the jailbreak for the iPhone 4, we saw a great update to the app My3G which can be found in Cydia for a price of $3.99 and it allows you to now use FaceTime over 3G as well.

  1. This is just loads better on Verizon's network. The call is smooth and video quality holds up pretty well compared to wifi if your on 4-5 bars. (with Verizon your almost always are). Also with unlimited data it makes these even better!

Btw use iphonerepo to get things free from cydia.

  2. @rdelario if u jailbreak your iphone 4, you can install an app that will allow you to video call someone on Android phone as long as both phones have the same app installed.

  3. Hey, MyGreatiPhone.
I have a $1M question for you… would this still work to call say a nokia phone?

so let's say I have this iPhone4 just like you. and I want to call a friend who's using nokia/samsung/sony phone whatsoever. now, this nokia/samsung/sony phone does NOT have any data plan (ie. voice plan only).

can I video-call to this friend? (i.e. true video call using only voice minutes).
