RIT Computing Security expert Richard Mislan gave comments and suggestions for iPhone users worried about a malicious new hack. The hack can be sent to users as a text message, and, under the right circumstances, can shut down your phone. The hack is called the “Effective Power” hack – and the initial message has those words in the notification.
