  1. Agreed. TV has been dead since the late '00s. I get my sports from SiriusXM, and if I like a certain TV show, I get it from iTunes or Netflix. Cable is full of far too many Reality TV shows and poor quality TV programming.

  2. I just downloaded it today for the Iphone. How do I make the video fill up the whole screen?? Also I was wondering when you are viewing it on WIFI do you have any issue with it… like it buffers a lot.

  3. Ipad is so crap look how slow and how long it takes for it to come up. What you expect from iphone ox system built into it. Get hp slate way more faster and best of all built in windows 7 using a real time computer and will not have problem using any apps to install.

  4. LOL what a joke who cares of this has when I get the HP slate I will not have problem watching it because all i need to do is download free slingplayer and will be able watch it. I heard many ipad users already having problem viewing LOL…

  5. @jackies35 There is no reason you couldn't use his tv. You must look into exactly what this is. This is software that interfaces with a hardware device called a slingplayer. So as you watched tv on your device, you would be streaming from his house, and changing the channels on his tv. Could be good if he has a rarely used tv.
I often wondered about making a deal with someone in another country. I would give them access to a box in my house, in exchange for them doing the same, cross culture.

  6. OK… This video stopped too many times…. I don't have cable because I watch or spend most of my time online (I love photography and web designs)…

So, i guess this only if you have many channels at home.. right?? Or can I setup this from my friends home?? He has cable! hahha

  7. @gmckay you do know that developers would have the option of packing an hd ipad app with the current iphone one so you wouldn't have to pay twice? I doubt the company behind slingplayer is going to try to stick for another $30

  8. Wait….DO NOT order this app for iPad until the HD version is released.

Otherwise, you will need to pay twice for the same app. If you have no intention of utilizing the future HD version, then by all means…enjoy on your iPhone.

Suggest you wait for the future release which will be optimized for iPad.

  9. i have a question. my dad has a computer at work with wifi and lets say he would want to use this at his work. and if i wanted to use this on my phone when im out of the house can we BOTH use it? or is it just 1 device at a time? thank you
