The Best Jeep Phone and GPS Mounting System

In this video I show you a close up look of the Vector Off-Road JKE mounting system with the 67 Designs clamps and iphone mount. This combination is what I believe to be one of the best setups for mounting all your interior accessories like your phone, gps, HAM radio, cameras, spod displays and more.

  1. I have a jeep wrangler 2011. I'm looking to put my I pad in jeep mounted to vector bar… my I pad is 10 ×7 . Could you tell me exactly what i need to get it mounted please! I love the 67 designs products…

  2. I love your channel! You inspire me to progress the build of my JK but I’ll never be done if you keep showing off all these things I didn’t know I needed

  3. Thanks TrailRecon for the great videos, accessories and wheeling! If I’m ever over your way, I’ll try and hit you up for some trails. Looking at the 67designs gear too. I like the simple 2 ball mount for me but what mount do you use to hold the iPad? I couldn’t find the comment below here anywhere. I’m going to use an iPad mini 2 for gps. Thanks again for the great content!

  4. I know this video is a year old but I saw your plaque on the back wall. Did you retire as a Master Chief? Just was curious. I know that you’re retired military but I don’t think I’ve watched a video with you saying your rank. Thank you for your service regardless!
Do they make this product for the JL/JT? It looks like a super simple install.
    Awesome video!

  5. What size carbon arms did you use? I want to mount my Traildash2 on my Vector bar, but not sure what length arm to use. The ones you have seem to be the perfect length. Thanks for all your helpful videos.

  6. Ahhh… now I see that you were a Master Chief. Your channel is the first channel done by a vet that I've been interested in. Most are trying to act like some sort of renegade. You're just being you and I like that. Thanks for your service brother.

  7. Brad … another great vid … thanks. At ~:46 seconds into the vid you show your phone and Magellan units mounted without the Vector bar. Which 67 Designs mount were you using for the Magellan?

  8. Can you please add the carbon fiber arm measurements you used on the description? Thanks! I want to mount an ipad mini but I don't know what arm size to use with this system. I just ordered the medium, we'll see how that goes! Great videos addicted for 2 weeks straight watching over and over again.

  9. …………HELP……..hi from norway brad.I have seen almost all your videos very interesting i have been out long after this phone holder part has been on ebay but i don't know what it's called to write get to find that part you will help me send me link so i can order it on ebay best regards harry

  10. I know that you are fastidious with your Jeep, so the question is…does it impede much for the cleaning of the dash and windshield? How about the view?
    Thanks

  11. New to TrailRecon and i love it. i love the 67design set up and want to duplicate yours. Not sure parts wise what to order to hold my trx7 the way yours is. Can you help with part list.

  12. Just ordered my vector bar, thanks for all the great info! Going to have a great time setting up my electronics! Thank you for your service! I also served in the Air Force, you have a great channel keep up the great footage! Jeeps rule!✌️

  13. Not sure I like this setup. The idea sure is great – if a Jeep had larger windows. I always find that the Wrangler has a very limited field of view and dead spots the size of a semi truck, so I try to avoid anything taking up space in the window area. I have a phone mount about where the 12V outlet is and that works just nicely (although intruding a bit into the legroom of the passenger). Now I'm thinking about mounting a 8" tablet. My thought it I'll probably 3D print me a clamp that screws on the left screw of the handle bar above the glovebox so I can attach a mount there.
