Put 87 in your bike, you'll save money and have more power. I used to think that higher octane gas was just better gas that burned better, and all around better (people tend to think this because it costs more), upon research I learned this is false. Octane is "detonation inhibitor". In simple terms, it tames down the gas for use in higher compression/higher heat engine (like race tuned engines) so the fuel mixture doesn't prematurely ignite and cause engine damaging detonation. There is a video on youtube called "Detonation Knocking Pinging – What is it" by Moss Motors ltd that explain this pretty well. The drz in not a high compression engine and is designed to run on 87, therefore use 87, it will run better and save you money, win win. Just trying to spread the word to people who think like I used to think in regards gasoline and octane levels. Of course this is only my semi-educated advice, everyone should do their own research. Great videos btw, though I personally think you need to be a little MORE ocd with your bike, those throttle cables are craaazy long, they off another bike or something, buy an OEM set lol
