people don't need 5g, but there's always people that will buy it just to flex and be better than everyone else even though they don't need it. sad

1-I live in the U.K. and we already got 5G network
2-I’ve got unlimited,max speed data plan
3 – My Iphone 11pro is slower when it comes to downloading that my 2 years old OnePlus 6
Why would a consumer purchase a 5g capable device when their unlimited data plan will deprioritize down to 4g and so on
Why buy a 5G phone? Works the same as LTE. I've been using the s20 plus for 6 month now and no difference.

In a country like America 5G is a fantasy for most of the place. Even in very densely populated European countries the challenge of rolling out 5G is enormous.

On T-Mobile Germany and they are capping my 4G, I don’t need a faster network like 5G, rather a fair price on data rates. I hope the EU starts looking into data package costs and regulate it down. Until then 5G is useless.
